Sheeds and the coaching staff are in awe of his athletic ability and his skills are surprisingly good.

He was kicking banana goals from the boundary last night, I saw it, and it was quite amazing.
Skills surprsingly good???? Wouldn't have him kicking out from full back.
Wouldnt have him in the ruck either, would get murdered around the ground and boundry throw-ins.
Great news though, does bring a new twist on international rules lol.

I doubt his weight will be a big problem. Ethiopian's are naturally thin but he could still be very strong. A bit like Fletch i guess. His record breaking 20m sprint and vertical leap would indicate he's very explosive and has strong muscle in those thin legs, and i wouldn't be surprised if the same goes for his upper body.

Just comes down to whether he can pick up the skills and smarts.

Well done bulletproof on the big scoop. You've been remarkably humble about it and your many enemies very quiet about the fact you beat Mark "Mini Mike Sheahan" Robinson to the story by a day.

After much changing I'm now a definite fan of Bulletproof/Big Footy debates

LMAO at black cat...TIMO.

Love your style dude...funniest post ever.

Moving on: Good luck to the young fella, hope he makes it...you canmake all the excuses in the world why he won't make it..manic depressives. can i read about why he weill make it?

IMHO when it comes to mental toughness this kid will be far and away the toughest in the AFL. He;s got famly in Ethipoa to support for Chriisake.
Relying on him.

Now THAT'S motivation.

g'luck son ;)

I don't reckon they were ever seriously considering him. Just another PR job from Sheeds. He is the master at this sort of thing.
Why would we then send him to Darwin at our expense, and then have him come back down and play with Bendigo (once again at our expense) if we aren't serious about developing him and then drafting him.

If we weren't serious we might as well just throw money down the toilet (or give it to Richmond).

Showed him on the news the other day up here in Darwin, couldn't mark the ball first grab, juggled it 3 or 4 times and his kicking was pretty basic, hopefully he'll improve but think he'll even struggle to play VFA, think its another PR exercise by Sheedy to get Essendon on the news.
