We can't have the Liverpool song. I hate traditions that are nothing more than blatant plagiarism.

How about we rework the words to Perfect Day to be more relevant to EFC rather than heroin. However, it would be amazing if 50k Essendon members belted out this chorus every time the bombers are clearly home half way through the last quarter.



It would make a fantastic sound track for the boys to chip the ball around to!

Got some inside word on this, big change expected before Friday night. There has been a directive straight from the top (Little) to change song.

In light of our recent push repair our relationships with the media and the AFL, we are actually using this song as a launchpad for our new strategy of promoting harmony, love and a contrite attitude towards the outside world.

From what I've heard Little will be personally dedicating this to AD and AFL House.

Such as nicking Celtic's song, which was in turn nicked from a Broadway musical, and pretending that makes you the only club with heritage. Although the nicking stuff heritage for Liverpool is certainly there.
