He said in his press conference that if the roles were reversed he'd hope that he was strong enough to say something. He believes he would be.

I believe him tbh - it takes a fair bit to stand in the middle of that many people and call a large group of them shameful.
When it's your club's favorite son, it's not so hard. Actions in the future will show whether he's a hypocrite.

Those collingwood fans aren't very friendly to opposition players, supporters, etc. All good... Buckley will teach them!

Agree the Guelfi free was not there.
Baugley one was 50/50 so I guess I agree again but notice you failed to mention very similar decision that went in favour of Cox(accept he missed)
Tippa ducking?? The guy is 5 foot! He got caught high at least 3 times and they were missed frees.
Enjoy the win. You guys are good. If you still think I have rose coloured glasses enjoy your life.
Every AFL player and media sycophant completely reading the room wrong here. Pendle’s is not a boo worthy player. Yeah so he ducked in the last and got a free...so what, happens hundreds of times a game. Essendon fans, we boo! Fact! Our boos are loud as we have a lot of supporters. As do Collingwood, west coast, hawthorn, Richmond etc. EVERY team boos because it’s the only way to show displeasure at the shitful state of officiating our game. And anyone who thinks Collingwood didn’t get rub of the green today(more so for the missed frees) is an idiot. Collingwood fans are all offended because their captain(and legend) happened to be presented a medal(deservedly) as Essendon fans were still in the 5 min zone of a close loss(that was clearly affected by umpiring). You won, maybe with a touch of luck, move on. No one hates Pendlebury. Buckley read it completely wrong and has stoked a fire.
Re the cox free kick
You'll notice
A/ ball was 10 meters away when he was shepherded
15 meters when his man initiated a shepherd

Very obvious
Pity it doesn't get paid more

I'm a football fan first and foremost. I hold no bias toward either team. Me being a dogs fan holds zero relevance to my opinion on the game played today.
Disagree. Whether you’re aware of it or not you’re conditioned to argue umpires don’t impact games because the only joy in your clubs recent existence was largely supported by them

Did Collingwood fans forget they booed Jobe on Anzac Day was called a drug cheat etc, etc.

Hypocrite much?
Well he was a drug cheat. I didn't boo him - didn't like it much.
There - does that make you feel better.
Now - were you happy with your supporters booing during the Medal ceremony today?
Did you boo?

Geez - its not hard - either you condone the behaviour or you dont.
You either participated or not.

Oh no, of course not. Just that you have that photo of a player holding a medal he didn't deserve, I thought you might've changed the photo at some point after realising he didn't deserve it, since your stance is strong enough that it would've brought you down to a level that would see you boo.
You're right, i should have uploaded a new profile picture before i bood pendles.
You think he would have waited for me?

campaigner.

No.
But what's with the tit-for-tat.
Doesn't excuse what happened today. Disgusting.
Does it make you feel better? Did you boo today?
I'm just saying

And fwiw fans were booing the umpires for the poor free kicks but the media will spin it saying Eseendon were booing Pendelbury because that's how society is now.

Collingwood supporters complaining about fans booing one of their players. You got to be kidding me. Goodes, Ablett, Watson, Sheed etc etc etc

I've never personally booed any player and don't really like when others do it, but booing a player during the course of a game is a bit different to booing during a medal ceremony. Bombers fans had their chance to voice displeasure at the umpires, which they had done, there was no need to carry on during the ceremony. Claims that it was purely about the umpiring doesn't really stand up in that context.

Pies fans did not boo the Eagles as they were receiving their Premiership medals, despite losing a close one. If they had it would have been a story as well.

Boo the umpires then, but not through a medal ceremony.
Not a good look. Admit to it, say it wasn't good and move on.
Worsfolds comments were a bit mealy mouthed and whitewashed the incident.
Didn't want to offend his supporters I suppose.
Wouldn't want this to set a precedent for future clashes.
I never said it was a good move. But I also understand footy is an emotional game and there were many very angry fans who wanted to protest, no matter what the circumstances.

This weeks tats numbers

Sounds like you read people's mind

Well done
It’s just a coindence the booing got louder when they called his name and then when he started speaking. It was definitely about the umps who’d left the field a few mins before hand :$
