Sorry you were wrong and didn't know what you were talking about regarding the medal- I can understand your embarrasment and need to make a 'witty' response to shield your ignorance - all of a sudden you're even using the words courage and sacrifice, learn something everyday don't you. Part of the ANZAC spirit the medal makes reference to and pays tribute to.
Of course its not a war and nothing compares to courage in that (aren't you a genius) - but it is a respectful tribute.
