As a neutral, I suggest people head to the Mongrel Punt's article on the game (written by a Hawks supporter), gives a good account of the more contentious decisions and addresses the booing and what it was actually representing.
Booing is definitely the AFLs achilles heel as previously pointed out, hopefully it wakes them up to the real issues that are hurting the game (horribly confusing rules/interpretations). More likely they'll get upset at fans and condemn them for booing, which is really frustrating as a paid up supported invested in the game.
