34 Essendon players suspended for in house doping compared to 3 Collingwood rogues, nice comparison champ but you can still blame danksy or was it Wally but not Hirdy

No. Can you provide a logical reason as to why they would boo Pendlebury? They started booing when the siren went and it carried over into the presentation. It’s pretty obvious it was directed at the umpiring. A quick search through BigFooty, Twitter or any other social media platform will confirm this.

The booing by Bombers fans during the Anzac Day Medal presentation to Scott Pendlebury has been declared as “Essendon’s shame” by AFL 360’s Mark Robinson.
And his co-host Gerard Whateley believes the fans that booed during the ceremony “didn’t live the national character that we believe is part of Anzac”.
Nice try but the person who started this post is calling out Essendon supporters for their behaviour which I’ll agree wasn’t great but I don’t recall any Collingwood people calling out their own for similar things and Collingwoods track record with crowd behaviour is worse than basically ever other side in the AFL over the years.
Yes all clubs have a bad element of supporters but it’s entertaining seeing Collingwood supporters getting salty when it comes back the other way.

Not everyone was a racist and domestic violence rates were miles lower than what they are now. Not everyone smoked (Although yes many more did than today) and upper class still look down on lower class.
Watch the news tonight and tell me we have good standards in todays society.
Domestic violence was far far higher in the past. The chart below is just reported abuse. In the past things we consider abuse today would not have been meaning the real chart is even steeper then this already steep chart.
It wasnt just domestic violence that was higher in the past. Plain ordinary violence rates were also much higher. Society is far more civilised now then it has ever been.
