How about you YippeeYiYeo .. willing to put your hand up and admit you were wrong about Buckley and his previous stance on Adam Goodes?
No.

Because he said the media were at fault for putting so much attention on booing, and then a few years later brings the subject right back into the spotlight with the first words of his speech on ANZAC Day.

It’s no coincidence that Buckley tried to squash the topic when it was his supporters at fault, but now fans the flames that it’s his player that copped it. That’s as hypocritical as it gets.

Lol. Coward.

Talk about a long bow. He's not a hypocrite at all. He's been perfectly consistent with his views on booing.

Should he not call out poor behaviour? That article you posted was 2 years after the original incident. He had a point. Its all the media could talk about. Bucks called it out yesterday on the spot. Thats not fanning the flames. He just called it for what it was on the spot.

Non that play Essendon
There is a dude on Twitter with plenty of time on his hands ...

From that list,

1) Should be play on
2) Should be a free for holding the ball, he broke one tackle then tried to break a second, classic holding the ball
3) Good marking contest, both players wrestling so no free
4) Should be play on

1) As the rules currently stand I can understand why that was called, two guys touched him high
2) Walla was clearly high
3) Ball up as the Pies player didn't really have a chance to get rid of it, Gueifi might have been taken high but not as bad as the Walla high tackles

Did Buckley make a statement when Collingwood fans boo’d Gaff and Sheed a couple of weeks ago? No? Wonder why?

And FWIW you don’t know what a coward means. Toddle off lil one.

/ignore.
So you think Buckley needs to call out all booing, i think this says more about you than him.

good on him for sticking up for his player. However, why didnt he have the same message for his own club's fans when they booed Goodes? Maybe he didnt think much of Goodes as a player
He was between a rock and a hard place re Goodes, given his chairman's comments on the issue. I'm guessing he needed to keep his head low.

Unlucky.

COLLINGWOOD coach Nathan Buckley has labelled the booing of Adam Goodes as “cowardly”, while fellow AFL coaches and former players have urged fans to stop.

“The sad part is that you wouldn’t boo Adam if you knew him. I’m such a supporter of his. He is an incredibly well respected human being.”

Buckley agreed, saying: “There is definitely a racist element to it. There’s nothing positive about booing. It’s cowardly.

You blind fools can’t even see how selective his comments are. Whatever. Anyone with half a brain realises that Pendlebury wasn’t the target of the boos and it could have been the Collingwood water boy receiving the medal they still would have been boo’d because Essendon fans felt robbed by the umpiring. Honestly don’t know why I bother replying to you numptys.

There have been hundreds of games just this century that have been directly decided by umpiring decisions. Yesterday's wouldn't even count in the top 80 for DIRECT impact on eventual winner and loser.
Essendon supporters looked foolish. Would hate to see how they reacted if they copped what Hawthorn and Sicily did against the Bulldogs.
Collingwood lost a grand final because of a non-decision that affected the direct result of the game and the supporters didn't carry on this badly.

Is it time to ask the question about Essendon being the most hated team in the comp now? Collingwood gained a lot of respect for Buckleys improved demeanour and their efforts to make a grand final last year.
Essendon have stolen Good Friday from the smaller clubs, their supporters put on a performance yesterday
I thought Essendon were the most hated.

Numptys hey?
How about someone calling Buckley a hypocrite for calling out booing, then asking why he didn't call out booing? that's a numpty.

I think you've hit on the problem. The majority of members suggesting the crowd was booing Pendles are pie fans

I'm not suggesting they were or they weren't, but they certainly started booing when he came to the mike.

But i am suggesting you have no idea who they were booing.

Except the crowd booed when pendlebury’s name was called out. And he wasn’t umpiring the game was he?
It’s probably fair to say that some people booed about the umpiring and some booed because they were sore losers. Most clubs have idiots and most clubs have fair supporters. Not sure if you’d have a problem acknowledging that.

points supporting my view:
1. essendon fans werent booing Pendles during the game which is usually when they will voice protests about an individual player
2. Pendles has never been a targeted player by bomber fans before
3. Essendon fans were booing about the result well before Pendles was announced as winner
4. Essendon fans feel (rightly or wrongly) they were unfairly disadvantage by poor umpiring, especially in the last few minutes of a close game
5. Pendles engaged the essendon crowd (in a reasonable manner) but this made them respond with how they felt at the time
6. Other than a questionable free to Pendles he did nothing to warrant boos
7. Almost every post I've seen, and people I've spoken to have suggested the boos were not directed at Pendles

according to this thread the idiots are exclusive to bomber fans
