Well that one slipped through. Orchard have assisted the clubs since 2016 in marketing, digital, sales, finance, payroll and HR. Now they get to stick their logo on Dodo's shirts and jacket(s).

Essendon Football Club is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with leading recruitment provider, Orchard HRO, to become the Bombers' inaugural Official Recruitment & List Management Partner.

The three-year partnership builds on an existing relationship, with Orchard having assisted the club on a wide range of recruitment in areas of marketing, digital, sales, finance, payroll and human resources since 2016.

The partnership will see Orchard, a Melbourne based firm, appear on the apparel of the Club’s Recruiting team, headed by List & Recruiting Manager Adrian Dodoro.

Orchard CEO Brett Douglas said the new partnership highlights the shared vision between both parties.

“This is a great opportunity for us to build on the great relationship we have with the Bombers and we look forward to connecting with everyone,” Douglas said.

“We understand that high performance in sport and business is about having the right team in place. Our recruitment services help to recruit the right talent and our service is delivered with care and professionalism.”

Essendon Chief Commercial Officer Justin Rodski said the synergy between Orchard’s expertise in workforce recruitment, and the Club’s List Management team was clear.

“We are always looking for companies and brands we can partner with where the connection and partnership extends beyond just association,” Rodski said.

“Being able to partner with an industry respected organisation who approaches recruitment with the same care and attention as we do when drafting a young player or working with a veteran on life after football, was an easy decision.

“We are very excited about the growth opportunities for both parties in the partnership and look forward to being able to share Orchard’s experience and skills with our other partners and stakeholders in the Essendon network.”
