I kind of like the Essendon poster laden "Hawthorn Worst Nightmare" thread a bit more. I don't know - it just seems to have had a different flavour the last couple of weeks.Gavin Excell strikes again.

Would people stop with this shit.
The Tigers were in 'crisis' after 3 close losses now they are top 4 'locks'
Adelaide was the best team in the league then lost 2 games an everyone was saying their midfield lacks depth
StKilda were a top 4 chance then lost a couple in a row now people say Richo is under performing.
Buckley was a dead man walking now they could be above us on the ladder on Monday night.
Melbourne were set to explode then lost a couple and we're underperforming
Ross Lyon was cooked then Freo won a handful in a row and they were finals contenders now they suck again.
Port were contenders now people are talking about how they can't beat top 8 teams.
Just shut the **** up and let the season breath. Essendon could lose 4 in a row or be top 4 in a month. Who knows
What's happened is the media publish hyperbole bullshit because it's what sells, and so the sheep public follow on and all you get is a seemingly bipolar internetWhat the **** did I say.
Since then Melbourne won 4 in a row and now essendon lose to Brisbane. Could be the opposite in a month. Just shut the **** up everyone
Essendon fans apparently never learn.Brisbane home - win

I'd advise 5 minutes at a time. You never know what can happen in 5 or so minutespazza, you're better than this.
Don't stoop to the 12 year old level and try and predict games ten weeks in advance. It's hard enough this year given the evenness of the competition to get it right one week in advance. Destined for disaster once the long range forecasts start coming out.
All those games will present major challenges. One week at a time.
Neither are Essendon-Brisbane games at EtihadHaven't learned from history yet?
You'll no doubt be overwhelming favourites for that match. You should know what that entails. Carlton/Essendon games aren't always set in stone. To call it a "win" just means you haven't learned from history.

If they haven't learnt after more than a decade of these performances, then they never will.Essendon fans apparently never learn.
We just lost to Brisbane at home minus their best player and down a man for 3/4!They will beat collingwood next week though, puts them 8-7. After that games against saints, north, dogs, blues, crows (at etihad), gold coast (metricon) and fremantle (etihad) so still in contention - fate in their own hands at least.
Still correct about Port thoughWhat the **** did I say.

How much do you want to bet that they wont be 8-7.They will beat collingwood next week though, puts them 8-7. After that games against saints, north, dogs, blues, crows (at etihad), gold coast (metricon) and fremantle (etihad) so still in contention - fate in their own hands at least.

Sorry, mistyped meant 7-8.How much do you want to bet that they wont be 8-7.
lol, more likely than St Kilda at the very least. *Should* finish ahead of WC and probably even Melbourne.More of a chance of Tony Abbott being PM again than there is of Essendon making finals.
