Looking at Essendon’s draw from here they’ll be underdogs in every game bar one for the rest of the year, would do well to end up on 9 wins.
Depends how one views Carlton I guess, Suns and Giants in Melbourne which could conceivably go their way.
IF Essendon are apparently turning a corner then I would love to snag one or two wins against all odds versus a team like GWS (Marvel), Sunns (Marvel) or dare I say it, Carlton (MCG).Looking at Essendon’s draw from here they’ll be underdogs in every game bar one for the rest of the year, would do well to end up on 9 wins.

cant make this up, injuries to our AFLand VFL listers tonightEssendon supporters can’t keep blaming injuries. Good clubs don’t get injuries like this. I don’t think Brad Scott is the answer. The whole place needs a broom. Literally nowhere.
Mid season draft can't come soon enough....cant make this up, injuries to our AFLand VFL listers tonight
cant make this **** up
Could we see someone be drafted and named for their debut on the same day?Mid season draft can't come soon enough....
I'd say it's pretty likely ahaCould we see someone be drafted and named for their debut on the same day?

Yeah Brisbane are pretty shit, no chance of winning a flag after 4 aclsEssendon supporters can’t keep blaming injuries. Good clubs don’t get injuries like this. I don’t think Brad Scott is the answer. The whole place needs a broom. Literally nowhere.
Because ACL/achilles/soft tissue injuries are exclusively for bottom teams. Cmon.Essendon supporters can’t keep blaming injuries. Good clubs don’t get injuries like this. I don’t think Brad Scott is the answer. The whole place needs a broom. Literally nowhere.
Going to be very hard to get more wins with our injury list also racking up.
Next week against Brisbane we will be down
Draper, Bryan, Ridley, Reid, Langford, Parish and Jones from our best 22.
Then Hayes and Edwards from our first group of reserves who are replacements for those above.
We will be playing our third string ruckman, third string KPD and not having a third tall forward at all as we don't have any left.
It seems to be a constant occurrence. Every club has them, sure, but when your constantly injured and out then you need to look at strength and conditioning and what can be done to improve it.Because ACL/achilles/soft tissue injuries are exclusively for bottom teams. Cmon.
There are many things to criticise Essendon for, but injuries are something every club has. Sure we can look at our soft tissue injuries and how our conditioning exacerbates it, but ACL and achilles injuries are unfortunate.
Question; how happy are you with Brad Scott?
Are you trying to say Scott is at fault for their injuries or are you just ranting?Essendon supporters can’t keep blaming injuries. Good clubs don’t get injuries like this. I don’t think Brad Scott is the answer. The whole place needs a broom. Literally nowhere.
Constant injuries and you need to look at the strength coach and medical teams. Theres a reason Joe Daniher left. For as long as I can recall, Essendon have always had injuries. Are you trying to say Scott is at fault for their injuries or are you just ranting?
We have 10 players on the injury list, 3 ACL’s, 1 ruptured Achilles, 1 dislocated ankle, and 1 concussion symptoms, you literally cannot do anything about those from a strength and conditioning perspective.Constant injuries and you need to look at the strength coach and medical teams. Got enough support to rid us of DodoroQuestion; how happy are you with Brad Scott?

when you put it that way, these long term injuries bar Hayes are to best 22, mature and established players. Maybe Edwards whom is likely to not be in the 23 if all fitNot to mention our injuries whilst making us a worse side and hindering the development of the injured players aren't really that relevant to the thread. We are a bottom 4 rebuilding side not in no mans land.
