Dons only won by a goal.
the week before bulldogs flogged melbourne, except they didn't flog them on the score board.

Essendon will beat Hawthorn, but only just.
Essendon 17.13.115 defeat Hawthorn 16.11.107

Essendon are not as good as what they were this time last year.

I wouldn't be that cocky, don't forget who the Bombers have out injured, I think it will be a close game, with the Bombers just getting over the line, due to their soft players like Hird & Lloyd getting favouritism from the umpires.
