Yes Really, whats the teams performance got to do with comparing players? unless he needs others to feed him the ball to make him look good? I recall Watson winning the Brownlow and Cotchin coming runner up in teams finishing outside the 8.

You're the one making the original claim, so you're the one who needs to bring some sort of argument.

If you're argument is that he doesn't win enough of his own ball you'd be wrong. Three stats that might help you, contested possession, clearances and disposal efficiency. He wins a higher proportion of his own ball than Heppell, he wins more clearances than Heppell and he uses the ball better than Heppell.

Ideally you'd want him to play more outside than he does because he runs with ball in hand, kicks goals and sets up team mates. However if the supply isn't there and he's getting tagged then moving him on ball makes a lot of sense.

I wasn't aware Heppell was having a Brownlow* year.

You missed the point champ

You didn't have a point then.

well your actually wrong on the contested possessions, Shuey avg 9.5, Hepp 9.6, Hepp averages more marks and more disposals. Shuey does get the clearances but probably plays more time in the midfield. Check your facts before you type mate.

"if he goes down for behaviors enforced on him by his own club, it will be one of the Afl's darkest and saddest days.
"he is not a drug cheat, but could be found guilty of drug cheating." robbo..
Not sure where to post this..
But felt it needed to be posted, robbo on 360 tonight. This idiot was happy for this to be aired on tv along with about 6-7 other quotes from experts/journos condemning the bombers and pretty much the afl for the lack of action on this. Now we all know Robbo is a tool of te highest order, but surely he must realize how unbelievably stupid he looks.
The darkest day in afl history will be the day the afl don't bring this club to justice.

You guys aren't going to know what hit you tomorrow night.....

Beat NN contested marks PB in his 2nd match;)
Did he win the game off his own boot with three final quarter goals against the reigning premiers in his second match?

I also saw him get rag dolled all game in the vfl 3 weeks ago, kicked 1 goal and carried on like a baby without his dummie.. He's got a long way to go man. Not sayin he won't get there though.

Didn't say he was anywhere near NN to be honest, just thought I would stir it up a bit, I must say I am quite surprised He hasn't had a bigger game marks wise though.

He doesn't play in the forward line much and isn't often a target I50.

Plus there is no such thing as a contested mark with NN - there is no contest.

Why does he needs marks when he's recorded a game with more contested possessions than he's had disposals?
