The banter at the footy is what makes the atmosphere so good. It is quite funny to see people lose their cool over things so stupid when most of the time the other person is just taking the piss.
I would suggest the guy calling Judd a "sheepdog" was doing this very thing and getting under the skin of you guys and wasn't really what he thinks (if it is then he has no idea). Part of what everyone goes to the footy for is to have a crack at opposition players. Alot of tongue in cheek comments are thrown around. It's always quite funny to here someone bag an opposition player because 9/10 its out of jealousy.

Whilst I agree that some is good hearted banter not all of it is, you can generally tell which are and which aren't though.
Why do Carlton and its supporters always get labelled wogs by the opposition or more so than opposition supporters?? Yeah sure Lygon St is a well known Italian restaurant strip, but all clubs have their fair share of ethnic supporters. I suppose when people talk about poor comments about opposition players surely this does then fall under racial villification?? I had a go at an Essendon supporter last Sat night who was labelling the clubs as full of cheating wogs bastards. The bit that annoyed me was that he couldn't see anything wrong but I am sure he would have called me a racist if I had of said something about one of the indigenous players at Essendon?? Not all Essendon supporters are tools but this was one was a f#@ken tool!
