Obviously if they were sent to the bottom they wouldn't get pick 1. I reckon ban them from the first 2 rounds. Have their first pick at the end of the second.

I think it is a simple case that Hutchy is flat out wrong. It won't happen. IF Essendon are stripped of points they would miss a first round selection or receive the last pick in the first round.

Don't think they will be playing for points next year....that being the case they are not likely to be able to be in the draft in any form.....you can not force a player to go to a club that is not competing on the same level with the same opportunities as the other 17 clubs ...you would think they would have to look for players to volunteer to join the club once the draft was complete.
