My understanding is that the typical incubation period is 7-14 days, but sometimes as long as 3 weeks. So Essendon out for minimum two weeks?

And how about last week's team?

Maybe not the end, but possibly another hiatus. They should probably do the same for Melbourne and Essendon as they did when Geelong were due to play Adelaide after Phil Walsh's murder .. cancel the game and give them both 2 points

Again according to the ABC, they are tested before every contact session or match. McKenna came back "irregular" mid week, and then positive on an additional test.

There are no checks points on the SA border, with the exception of Border Gate at the WA border, thats been there for at least 40 years that I know of.

As for the Melbourne, I'm confident they'd be more than happy not to be exposed to any Essunscum. Will buy the league and the health departments a bit of time to try and work out a solution

Edit: Shitney and Norf are probably ****ed as well 16 15 team competition? This season should go ahead and become a battle of attrition.
