$690,000 from donations, $1.36m in government grants and $2.2m from pokies.I wonder what the figure would be without pokies or donations.

Must be burning Kosh seeing EFC making almost 3 mill profit with his own club losing 2 mill.
Suffer in your jocks ya bald prick.

And you still recorded an operating loss. There's a lot of Port talk in here for an Essendon thread
Port 2014:
4th highest average crowds
6th highest membership figures
3rd place finishers
As the more cluey amongst you have realised there's more to the story in SA- and the more optimistic of Crows/Port supporters believe the millstone around the neck may soon be loosened.
Feel free to come over to our board and discuss![]()

herp derp- that's the point. And you still recorded an operating loss.![]()
To cut a long story short, Port recorded an operating loss in 2014.herp derp- that's the point.
If you'd put any thought into your opinion you'd realise there's a systematic flaw in the off-field structure when you have two clubs pulling such strong KPIs and recording multimillion dollar losses every year; which in Crows/Ports' case is propping up a bloated local competition still caught up in the days of competing with the VFL and determined to wring every last bleeding cent out of their hosts.
It must be a blissfully simple existence viewing everything in black and white, oh L'homme de la Nature et de la VéritéTo cut a long story short, Port recorded an operating loss in 2014.

Just as the poorer Vic clubs "just need a fairer stadium deal". The most optimistic of their supporters believe the millstone around their neck may soon be loosened... they have done for quite a while.herp derp- that's the point.

The poorer Victorian clubs are all in the bottom quartile for membership and attendances too- plus don't have $5mill+/year of pokies revenue flooding in.Just as the poorer Vic clubs "just need a fairer stadium deal". I'm fairly sure everyone realises this. It's quite obvious that people are just winding you and your fellow Port brothers up.The poorer Victorian clubs are all in the bottom quartile for membership and attendances too- plus don't have $5mill+/year of pokies revenue flooding in.
Surely you can see there's some form of shenanigans when you have clubs consistently in the top third for attendances / membership (Crows, Port (2014)) scraping by with breakeven to multimillion dollar losses.
A million more shades of gray to this situation than the average, most of which have just only over the past couple years been exposed (thanks mostly to Victorian journalists like Caro mind you).

Perhaps for some, but I think that for the majority of Bigfooty posters "oh it was just a joke / troll" is more an excuse to hide behind when they realise their argument is falling down.I'm fairly sure everyone realises this. Snore. I'm all for good natured banter but that was dull. All you blokes need to do is charge entry to those tarps that cover the seats.
Loyal to the end over there. Sing when your winning, dissappear when you lose.
Supposedly ran by a financial gun, but lose $2mil after a successful year on the field. Hate to see what the books look like when you start losing again
Couldn't disagree more. People understand the reason, it's been plastered everywhere. It's all just people taking the piss mate. You have to forgive a supporter of a club that has existed for less than 20 years (and with only one premiership to its name) for trying to gloss over their club history.EFA

15th highest average crowds (above Gold coast and Brisbane lol dem tarps)
16th place finishers
12th in membership

Fair call but it gets pretty boring when a topic can't be discussed without it deteriorating into a slanging match with the same old drivel.Couldn't disagree more. People understand the reason, it's been plastered everywhere. It's all just people taking the piss mate. Take it for what it is.

You're wrong! While the drugs weren't legal, they weren't illegal either. Hurricane Katrina in a teapot #standbyryderandmonfriesMonfries and Ryder are dirty drug cheats
