Some posts just come out of nowhere:

"The AFL are the biggest culprits and they are the body the players should sue if suspended."
That is just a fantastic line. None of this would have happened if it weren't for the AFL. Why is Hird copping flack for this? Hird at least took Reid's warnings seriously and put an end to the dodgy PED program obviously initiated by the AFL.

To be fair, the board is a lot more level then it was a year ago, and you see a lot more debate and what I'd say is the "middle ground" view. Definitely been a noticeable change in opinion from a number of posters.

Still a metric shitload of delusional pearlers though :p

Check out the Hird cultists at the court hearing today to support their saviour. What a bunch of flogs. Think about this for a minute people: These people are allowed to breed!
So he could rustle up fewer than 15 supporters. I am impressed.....

Fogdog didn't make it? Shit, that's two of Hirds senior legal advisors not there. Hopefully strategy puts up a good fight today.

Losing in two different courts of law is a deliberate ploy?

"Agree - just cannot see Hird winning this. Have never thought he'd win this.

Either his advisers told him he had a reasonable chance of winning (the same advisers who said he had a reasonable chance of winning the first time around ?) or they told him he didn't have a reasonable chance of winning but he's ploughed on anyway under a self-inflicted cloud of deluded optimism.

Or he knows it's a losing battle but it's part of some bigger strategy."
