There is no way this is over by March 2015. None.
This won't be over until every single player on the list in 2011 has retired and probably even then we will still hear about it any of them, through he law of nature, get sick ever...
The 'saga' long ceased to be about what did and didn't happen.. it has its own life support systems now.. it is a self sustaining entity. It will never end. The question will be how much better our club and players become at handling it. Obviously it will get easier as time goes on and more of those players move on, the fresh boys coming in will find it annoying but not alarming.
We will never know more 'truth' than what we already know. EFC ran a safe, legal program that pushed the boundaries. There may be a risk that Dank went outside the program guidelines to maybe administer a handful of injections that may have been different to what was specified and they may have been banned. However short of Dank saying "yep I switched out the drugs and doped players" we will never be able to transport ourselves back in time and test the liquid in the needle.
Any benefit that a player derived from the 'program' has well and truly since lapsed as it was unlikely the benefit was even there, let alone would still be present three years later. As to the potential for 'long term health risks'.. there are none. not even if they were given TB4. There are no increased health risks automatically even for a 'banned substance'. A substance can be banned because it enhances performance, not because it is 'dangerous'.
Playing a high intensity contact sport is the risk factor for these players and most of their long term health issues will be created by arthritis, joint pain, repeated concussions and other known side effects. They will not be alone with these risks.
We will never find a 'truth' because there is no truth to find. There were mistakes made and mainly by people well and truly after the supplements stopped being administered.
