Essendon blew the Crows away after half time.
Essendon out-scored a dismal Adelaide outfit in the 2nd half scoring.
11.8.74 - Adelaides 5.6.36
Adelaide have now lost 2 games in a row, and worrying.
James Hird in Hospital! That will be a big loss to the Bombers, but The Dons have too many good players in their list to replace him.

Final Score

Essendon 18.14.122 D Adelaide 11.7.73
WELL DONE ESSENDON!!!! THEY ARE STILL THE TEAM TO BEAT.

What happened to Hird this time?
I saw him running around with a bandage around his head in the second quater i think it was, did someone K.O him?

Hird was concussed. He will be back for the Freo game (if we need him:p ) in two weeks. Joining him will be Mercuri, Misiti(maybe), Hardwick and Caracella.

Is it possible for a team to start a match at a price less than $1.00? :p

hahaha, well if ever a team is going to start less than $1, its going to be in a fortnight...
dont worry about that, how much is freo going to pay?!?!

:p

essendon always winning... :o

Crows game plan

Well it seems the Crows game plan to go in hard & play the man instead of the ball, backfired on them after half time.

To all the people that have been saying the Bombers players are soft, were shown once again tonight that they are anything but soft.:D

I only hope that this isn't the last time we see Peverill play this year, he played brilliantly against McLeod.

i have been watching Peverill for the last few weeks, he is going to be something very good...
i hope he leaves Essendon, and comes to Collingwood.. they have no room for him... we have plenty of room...
he could be 1 more young gun to with the pies!

Plenty of room? I thought the Pies were already chock full of young guns! ;)

I VERY much doubt Pev will leave, and there are rumours that he may just find his way back this year.... ;) (fingers crossed!)

Well listening to Robert Shaw after the match...Pev ain't going anywhere! He'll be automaticially added to the list at seasons end (when the EFC submit their 2002 list to the AFL).

Handy pickup that boy! :p

There is talk around that Wallis' back injury, could turn out to be a long term injury, if that is the case & I suspect that it will end up that way, Pev will be back for round 13 & the rest of the season.:)

He will be added to the senior list next year and will be offered a contract. The amount wouldnd't be a problem for him, his been a Dons fan all of his life.

yep. Another Keilor Park boy to go along with Misiti & Mercuri. :D

Interesting too that it was Misiti who paved the way for him.

(edit: that's Pev i'm talking about.)

Peverill has been an absolute revelation for the club - I must admit to having tears in my eyes as he lead the boys off. Well done Pev, I hope ya come back soon! You've won a big fan in me. (And to all those Essendon supporter critics: Gasp, he's not even cute!)

It was interested reading todays paper and saying Misiti's request for a pay rise is about $400,000 more than what essendon are offering.

Now look if he was going to earn that much Essendon no way could afford him!

So in saying that, in the last few weeks with Peverill, the bombers have done well and I wanted to hear the opinion of anyone.......Peverill would be payed peanuts compared to Misiti, so why not trade of Misiti and keep Peverill, it will save a lot of money salary cap wise, and you could get high draft picks (not that you need it) for a Misiti or a ruckman which you will need beyond this year, I think that senario makes sense!!

I heard Sydney chased Misiti hard, why not!!!
