Who goes out of our forward line for him? Wright is the backup ruckman and playing pretty well, Caddy certainly isn't going anywhere & May was pretty good against Freo and is worth an extended block in the 1s.

He could be part of the rotations in the forward line.

Feel like we are already too tall in forward line (due to lack of decent small forwards) I wouldnt want to add another tall to the mix.

True, I’d rather keep Caddy and May in the forward line learning to play with each other.

It’s crazy even with Langford being injured, and Perkins stinking it up, he can’t find a spot. But it is what it is

He was drafted as a depth option, and until someone gets hurt or he keeps kicking down the door, he's probably going to be waiting a while.

In any case we need to play McMahon as he only got 6 months.

More than depth if he keeps going the way he is. Langford/Perkins replacement IMO.

Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No. Murphy was at Hawthorne when they made 4 Grand Finals in a row and had a 3 peat, not as the head but he was there. I get people want a scapegoat but when it's happened under multiple regimes the likelihood of it being "This guys fault" is almost certainly incorrect.

Being there and being the man, are two totally different things. He was just a cog in a wheel, he’s proven incompetent running his own program. He should’ve been sacked last year, and if he’s not sacked in a few weeks time it’s just essendon being an unserious, not ruthless football club.

Players reaggravating their injury at training just as they are about to return to play has been a constant theme at essendon since Murphy has arrived. That’s on him, whatever they’re doing it’s not working, or they simply don’t know what they’re doing and are incompetent in the role.

Please show where I've said anything like that? All I've said is that it's happened repeatedly under multiple S&C regimes and I want a full and independent review.

I think Murphy is a part of the problem but not the whole Problem the entire department and other resources need to be reviewed

I believe it's beyond that question of 'who goes in his place' for this kid.

I hear alot about how some kids are not ready for the rigours of AFL. (the two obvious for us are Lual and Vissentini) And who knows if these two obvious names will survive at his level?

But the other end of this scale its easier to forgive high end draft picks that are not stepping up. If one does not meet expectations one must be dropped.

It's Perkins time to be sent back to the VFL.

So the answer to your question is.......who cares. Whoever it is will offer more.
