WHAT A WINNN......Absolute legendary stuff
What, a 10 point win over Carlton, a team that has won the last 2 wooden spoons and is playing for a priority pick?
Yep, legendary. What a win! Essendon for the flag!

mate I never said we would make finals, i simply said enjoy this win, over a club that we havnt beaten since 2005It's called objectivity. We won't make finals. Not this year, not next year. FACT.

We came back from 5 goals down without him.

stanton was great, didn't butcher the ball as much and did some nice things going into forward 50.
Gumby was quite good on the lead, still developing
Mcphee was great all day, proved most doubters wrong with a great game

spot on 100%im with you brucey, if you cant enjoy your teams win what's the point supporting them?
He had a great game today
The problem is he has been inconsistent this yr. One week he's great, next week he's terrible and all his doubters are back
One of the reasons Sheedy is going.
We were 1 from 6 against one of the worst clubs to ever play AFL.
What does that say about us?
No one here is making any outrageous claims of flags or finals or anything like that, just simply enjoying the win. I tell you what I sure enjoyed it.
I enjoyed a vintage Hird performance, of which we are very close to not seeing again.
I enjoyed seeing Lloyd's best game in about three years, where his hands were like vices.
I enjoyed Lovett's best game in two years.
I enjoyed seeing the younger tier of players taking on the opposition and coming up trumps eg. Monfries, Reimers, Paddy
I enjoyed sort of a new look side playing some quicker and exciting football, with quick hands and good run, especially in that last quarter.
Yes, it was against Carlton, we're not a great side but we played well today and showed signs for the future, something which we have struggled to do all year.
Why not enjoy it?
Maybe red+black just had a rough childhood?!spot on 100%

Dead set mate piss off and take your negativity elsewhere.

How did Big Mal go today on Fev?
Did we win or did Ratten win?
The only reason I am happy for this win is seeing Hird go our in style - this season is finished and the cold hard reality of footy these days is getting the best kids with the highest draft picks possible = losing. I really hate what the draft has done to this game.
the players will always have a dip - do the coaches though?
