Could get an early 3rd.

Would package Green and Colyer for a pick in 20's and then give to Collingwood for Elliot

The issue the VFL has right now is we are fielding a number of young inexperienced players due to the growing injury list of our AFL players.

Yes and while we are at it let’s use our 4th round pick to get Gaff

Given Stewart is going to be in next week keen to hear if he followed up last week's good form
1 goal and not named in the bests. Hartley named best on (Hooker forward?). Tells a story.

Watched the first 3/4 and some of the last.
Hartley was super. Backed himself to attack the ball and was in everything.

Francis did what he has been doing. Just reads the play so well. They used him at some centre bounces as a big body and he did well with that. Good sign that his role has been expanded.

Draper was bloody good as well. Not only is he doing a real good job in the ruck contests his numbers around the ground are getting better. He could have nearly had 30 possessions as he dropped a few marks here and there.

Much was steady throughout the game. Started in the middle and played the whole game on ball.

Mynott does some good stuff. Progressing well.

Ridley did not have his best game but he was still good enough. Got involved and read the play ok.

Stewart got most of his footy leading up at the ball further up the ground. Was double teamed a lot when he was close to goal.

Luenberger played mainly forward but just could not hold a mark and he got hands to a few of them.

Laverde was better after a slow first quarter. Did spend some time at half back. Did a few good things but no real influence on the game.

Clarke also had a slow start before finding the ball a bit. Has been better.

Rest where pretty plain and the Pies made sure they put some work into Hind which stopped a lot of run.

Our young VFL players can get caught just off the pace at times which allowed the Pies to get on the outside. That half a second of ball watch and lack of experience has hurt us two weeks in a row letting teams get a run on down the ground and behind the last line of defence. They are all giving 110% but the lack of experience and consistent games puts them just a little behind VFL level over a whole game. We are probably 2 or 3 experienced VFL players short of covering but what can you do when they are not guaranteed a VFL game every week when we have most of the AFL list available.
