The idea is to move Hooker because he will get the number one forward and therefore release the pressure on Stewart whose gone from having the number three tall defender to the number one defender - This also gives us the opportunity to play Ridley as the third tall, forcing Hurley to be the number 2 tall defender - Long comes in to play wing/forward which releases Mckenna back to half back and is effectively the replacement for Baguley - Langford is a straight swap for Myers whose been embarrassed by Pendlebury and Cripps in the last few weeks - Clarke plays an inside midfield role which releases Smith to play a forward role.

Hawkins generally has a a day out with us. I like Ambrose but we need someone else to make Hawkins accountable and I’m not sure Hurley will have that task. For this game I’d leave Hooker back.

McKernan should stay in.
Stringer & Tippa both need to spend time at VFL level.
Myers has to make way for Langford now, there can be no justification for not making this move & sticking with it.
I'd stick with Laverde for a couple more weeks, but he has to show something very soon.
