Only rest players who genuinely need to be rested, we need the % big time if we're dead set about top 4.

Treat every game as if it were a final and smash them into oblivion.

This is my mindset too. If we want to truly be a top team then we need to obliterate sides, blow them out of the water.

We did I to Brisbane (admittedly at home); we need to do it to GWS. Put them to the mutha****ing sword

If we maintain something similar to current form across the remainder of the season, I think that we will be fighting for 4th spot. Percentage is key for a second-chance in finals.

In any case, if we are an improving side, we should be notching up the big wins against the cellar-dwellers. Whilst it was good to beat GC away, it was far from an impressive performance.

Let's torch 'em on Saturday night.

Hardingham and Dempsey will get a visit from the General I reckon. McVeigh and Slattery may get a week to see if they offer anything this year.

In: Pears, Dell, Colyer, McVeigh

Out: Fletcher, Jetta, Hardingham, Dempsey

*Note this is ideal game for it to be McVeigh's farewell game. Back in his hometown of Sydney and against his old coach. Thanks for the memories Spike you have been great but the game has gone past you. Time to get the farwell game over and done with now, rather than leave it to the end of the year when it will be awkward to have Hird deal the "games for mate" card when it is time to prepare for finals and get serious.
