Yeah I'm not sure what it will be that he is narrating about?
maybe Essendon footage shown on the screen that he will talk about whilst the light show is happening at the same time...
or the footage could be on the ground itself
It'll be somewhere between hovercraft and:

hopefully closer to the latter

Don't like to be negative, but these are some very underwhelming ins.

This is another game where our bottom half-dozen or so will really cost us (Ashby, Melksham, J Merrett, Ambrose, Langford).

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing would be Ashby on Boomer and Gleeson moved up to a wing/forward, though it looks like Ashby will be the sub.

My money is on air raid siren and some bloke on the 3rd level with 6 laser pens cutting sick.

Our budget isn't the best at the moment, let's be honest.

eh, he touched it about 23 times against the saints including 2.3
Ha well shit. I was watching this one in Bali and can't remember much funnily.

Either way....

Don't want to be negative too but i can't see us winning. We have had problems in the ruck, in our forward line and with our ball moment yet once again, for the 3rd week in a row our ins do not do anything to help these problems. Also, ST Kilda looked super quick against us at etihad, North are a better side and their spread / pace will kill us. I hope we win obviously and if we bring the intensity we brought to the game in the first 2 games of the season we will win but that seems like it was such a long time ago....

Am I too old school? I don't get the pre-game stuff. People go to the footy to watch the footy, pre-game stuff is generally cringeworthy when done "just because".

When the pre-game is targeted towards a cause such as the ANZAC Day and Dreamtime games it has meaning, but doing it just because is a pointless waste of money IMO.

Pains me to say it, but Mckernan in for Carlisle will really balance the side out in both the forward line and ruck.

Same pains me to say it but would prefer Carlisle or Ambrose to be out tonight and McKernan in to better our structure.
12 months ago or even 6 weeks ago, we would have been rightly so locked up in mental asylum for suggesting the change.
On the back of a month of solid dominating VFL footy McKernan gets his chance tonight to play seniors and backup the bigfooty hype surrounding him

I Dont think Carlisle will play to be honest, if we were playing sunday he might get up but one day after pinching a nerve in his neck...

Didn't Goddard have a similar injury while playing for the saints? everyone thought he broke his neck but he was fine.

Only reason I remember is cos he was having a blinder for my SC team, 11 touches first quarter, and then bam RIP

You Might be right, suppose just depends how bad it is.

I know that if McKernan comes in, it'll likely be for Carlisle because of his neck, but it's a shame he couldn't come in for Ambrose.

I like Curtly, but I really think he needs to go back to the seconds and find some form, get some wickets, trouble a few batsmen. His current incarnation isn't the player we want him to be.

We're ****ed tonight.

Why? Because I'm confident we'll win. Never ends well.

Gee, we haven't been this negative since the round 2 hawks game.

Hard to be positive at the moment. A lot of passengers in the side and no real options to replace them with.

Really keen to get Chappy, Coon, Zakka, Myers and Hocko back. Plus hopefully Winders if we make finals.

I also think Ambrose is a broke man's version of Kommer, who hopefully hasn't lost what he had after his injury.

Out: J Merret, Melksham, Ambrose, Ashby, Howlett, Langford, Dempsey.
In: Chappy, Cooney, Zaharakis, Myers, Hocking, Kommer, Winderlich.

Anyone want a freebie ticket for tonight?
