There is no way you guys are written off...... People are dreaming of a Sydney win, but deep down they think the Bombers will win. Except the swans fans for obvious reasons.

Oh that must be tough topdon to not be favourites by a few dollars and only by cents this week.

I think Essingdon have had their chances, much like the Labor party. They are yesterdays news. The Sydney City Roosters will win this one.

Pass the chips please....

I love the way that the Dons lose 2 games and all of a sudden, "they're finished" etc.

Yet 2 weeks ago, they where "the greatest team ever" etc....

I think people should remember a few things:

a) They're still the reigning Premiers
b) They're still a game clear on top
c) The 2 losses could quite easily have been wins had the ball bounced differently
d) Kevin Sheedy is still coaching them last time i checked
e) It was only just over 2 weeks ago that they came back from 69 points down in the 2nd quarter

and

f) now that they've been beaten twice, everybody thinks they're "vulnerable" and that they can be beaten.

Which is good. :)

'Carn the Dons!

Exactly. It's just another reason to give it 110%. Now, not only do we have to beat a team every week that is trying to knock off the "big boys", we now have to prove to every football watcher that we are the best team of the past 10 (or more) years, again.

Sheeds would be rubbing his hands together right about now. :)

cheers.

Hahaha. Who is this?

Not only have they lost their last two, but the two games before that their opposition could well have won. For mine they are still the best in the comp., but there are obvious signs that they have already peaked. It is quite conceivable that after dominating for 3 seasons thay may have just one premiership to show for it.

As for this week, the swans have no chance.

The "logic" some of you come up with, going by your thinking, the Bombers could well have won the last two matches.

Ofcourse this is true. But in comparison to last year it is pretty obvious that the fact that Essendon have lost 2, and were in losable games for 2 weeks before that means they are no where near the side they were. For the whole of last year was essendon in 4 games where it looked at all possible that they could lose???
