Want to see Bird have a big one. Been disappointed with his efforts so far after expecting him to be one of our leading inside midfielders. 10CP+ and 5+ clearances is what I'd be telling him if he wants to play round 1.

Looks like he's been used as a tagger. Ten tackles or something in one of the nab games, can't remember which one

Should use Crowley for that, Bird is arguably the best inside ball winner we have.

I would agree of we had the likes of Heppell and Watson in the team as well. Crowley might be an excellent tagger, but at the moment he's simply one of our better players and to use him as a tagger would be a waste.

Having said that, I agree that it's a waste to use Bird as a tagger as well.
