Essendon, where are they now?

Essendon's rich and powerful cotories and media mafia are actually a bigger hindrance than asset.

They need a bull goose tosser like Eddie to rule over them all like Collingwood have.

Definitely need to make changes, Crow is a good start.
Only 1 of their last 11 coaches has managed a finals win. That's incredible.

Essendon only ever 'win' trade week. Its actually laughable the media jerk off that occurs over them every pre season.

This isnt even a troll post.

We've got 16 flags.
So only ever winning trade week is a bit rich

This isnt the worst drought in success a club has seen.

I will admit as a fan im not seeing enough signs the rains are coming though

How Dodoro stays in his gig is utterly beyond me.
Not only stays in it as the list management guru, but gets promoted to the executive team despite being the brains behind building a list that’s not got close to winning a final since 2004.
Surely if they did a proper in depth performance review he’d be getting thanked for his time, he’s misread the list strength big time and overreached at the trade table

I think a number of players, coterie members, and media boosters have never been behind Woosha and have been white anting him from day 1.

I've said it before, but with toxic friends like Tim Watson who needs enemies.
It's what they do there. Long may it continue.

DEAN LAIDLEY took a squad that all Essendon supporters assured us was mediocre at best to a finals win ffs.

He knows where the bodies are buried. He's in with all the right people, he's a made guy.

Essendon is run more like - oh DapperJong you'll love this one - more along the likes of an organised crime family than they an actual football club.

Bombers

I love you, mate.

But were you shaking when you typed the bolded?

Carlton Essendon and until recently Richmond are all VFL era big dogs who thought they'd just run the show forever.

Then like the pimply faced early growth spurt wielding bully in primary school discovered that a more level playing field isn't so easy to dominate with money and muscle.

Collingwood adjusted best and Richmond have in the past 5 or so years and it appears the blues might finally be on that track as well.

The bombers going nowhere fast. Freo will a flag before these jokers.

It was Hawthorn and Geelong that adapted best and became big clubs when previously they were on the edge of bankruptcy and mergers.

Essendon's near death experience doesn't seem to have had the same effect.
