Round 9 vs Richmond
Round 12 vs West Coast
Round 13 vs Carlton
Round 14 vs Fremantle
Round 16 vs Richmond
Round 18 vs Melbourne
Round 19 vs West Coast

Really need to win them. Or we are seriously struggling big time.

We beat carlton and North.

yes and both are above us on the ladder and carlton will likely beat us in the return game. they are in much better form than us.

we are one win above melbourne and have the second worst percentage in the comp. i believe we are firmly a bottom 4 side.

the big x-factor for me is lucas. i'll be interested to see how we perform with him back in the side and whether lloyd can hit any sort of form with the extra help. if lucas didn't play for the rest of the season i would only expect us to beat the eagles in round 12 and the demons in round 18, and maybe one other along the way. with lucas we could potentially pick up another 3 - 4 depending how he has recovered from injury.

the fact that knights keeps referring to having no plans to apply any sort of defensive pressure what so ever is worrying to me. i think this gives a lot of teams the green light to take their chances against us because our forward line is not firing at all. this is partly due to poor ball usage from our mids and partly due to the absence of lucas and lloyd's poor form.

I say get the priority pick, bugger winning, finals are out of the question... everyone knocked Carlton but I couldn't give a pig's ar$e! That's putting it bluntly, I'm not saying to "chuck" a game, I'm saying that we shouldn't win!!! Hahahahahaha

Your posting of late has been highly negative, and this effort is beyond the spirit of the club that you obviously do not know.

Really, is that why Peverill and JJ aren't playing? Please, save your moral bullcrap. We're playing the youngsters before they're ready to compete at the AFL level, they are giving Courtney Johns a game, we've got above players playing good enough football at Bendigo to warrant a game... they won't be played because winning is NOT the priority, what would you call that??? You can call it a youth policy or what ever you like. If you aren't going out onto the football field with the intention of winning then you are tanking. Can you tell me that we make winning a priority?

I haven't been negative, in fact, of late I've been extremely positive! If we get Daniel Rich and another coveted youngster in the midfield we can build a competitive unit over the next 3-4 years. That's thinking positively! ;)

To finish 10th you will need about 10 wins to finish 12th you will need about 6 wins were will 4 more wins come from this season?

I can only see you beating possibly Carlton and Melbourne and the Carlton game is probably a 60/40 in Carltons favour.

I reckon you will finish 15th on 4 wins

All these young players as good as they may be eventually will take at least 3 to 4 seasons to develop before you begin to move forward. You guys are in for a long bumpy ride.

Dumb post. What makes you think we can't turn our form slump around? I also remember you beating us in R21 last year after most people would've argued that you had no chance. After you blokes got thumped by Collingwood it was all doom and gloom, how quickly people forget.

Our games against you (especially you) are winnable, as they are against WCE and Freo

Smyth - if there is anything worse than someone who always blames losses on umpiring decisions, it's someone who blames losses on injuries. You get twenty two blokes from each team and they go out there and play.

Tell me exactly which games we would have won this year had our best 22 been playing? The only games you could even consider are the bulldogs and the saints and both are a stretch. I didn't see the bulldogs game but I was at the saints game and we were clearly out classed all night. Every other loss has been over 10 goals.

Yes we have had a bad run with injuries, but we have not played well, and injuries are not an excuse. Carlton's best 22 would beat our best 22.

How can you say injuries are not an excuse, the players we have fielded in every round are not the ones we would have in a perfect world. if certain players aren't playing it affects the team, simple really...

Well you are right, it can affect the team... it can also affect the coach if he doesn't have a backup plan, I am happy with Knights as it stands, but lets face it, we don't know if he's up to it. Like the majority of our list it will take time to sort them out.

Off topic slightly. If Knights was given 3 years, he's got 3 years, nuff said.

I think any coach would struggle given the circumstances so i'm going to wait a full year before my complete judgement on knights early signs aren't looking flash though.

Dyson and Slattery Deals, Johns on Pendles etc.

hopefully he proves me wrong

we beat carlton so wat r u talkin about without lucas. and who did they have out

Just found an Interesting Stat.

Jobe Watson leads our team in goal assists for the year....

And is ranked 17th in the whole league....

Another Stat I saw.... Lloyd is kicking 70% accuracy with 19 goals, and only 23 goals less than Buddy Franklin.....sigh....

because 22 blokes from each team run out. i am not one for making excuses, it makes you sound petty and like a sore loser. you can't control injuries. each team picks their side and they go out and battle. if you lose, you lose and you accept you got beaten on the day.

take the best 8 players out of any side and they will struggle. imagine geelong with no ablett, corey, scarlett, harley, bartel,sj,milburn and chapman. at one stage 15 dons were injured at once,10 of that 15 arguably in our best 22
