They are the fairy tale, coming back from a terrible few years, they got a great core now, and Woosh is a good coach.

With Shiel coming in and Daniher coming back. Be very dangerous.

What's going to change between now and April? They aren't going to lose any players. Unless another drug saga unfolds or their plane falls out of the sky, Bombers plus Shiel will be the same team this month as in April. No difference between declaring it now or in 6 months time.

They were almost the best side in the comp on pure form at the end of the season, and with Shiel coming in and Daniher coming back, no reason why the can't pinch a top 4.

Finals should be expected but the flag is no certainty, just look at Richmond this year with the best mid in the competition with Dusty and Hawthorn with Brownlow Medalist Mitchell, neither side made the GF.

If Carlton is bottom four and its wet, picking Essendon to lose is like picking Winx to win.

It has more to do with structure and set up, what Shiel brings to Essendon is that explosiveness from clearances it lacks, also it changes who goes where.

We've added Lynch to the team that made a prelim
West Coast will add Gaff to the team that won a flag
Geelong added Dangerfield to the team that finished 10th and they didn't win the flag.

We are a chance in 2019. But i see 2020 being our biggest opening. Cant see our list changing for the next 2 years. We dont need anymore players. We just need our currnent list to continue to develop and gel and get that deep familiarairty with each other.
