Basically a full strength Bombers outfit against 11 AFL listed Tigers with Soldo Townsend Miles Moore C.Ellis among those missing with Aarts also missing. The Bombers are 4th on the ladder a couple of wins behind the Tigers so losing this probably doesn't have a major impact on how the VFL season will pan out for us, but we wouldn't want to be copping any more injuries.

On the flip side it is a good opportunity for the likes of Stengle Bolton Baker Menadue to put their hands up and say they are ready if needed, while younger players like CCJ Balta & Naish get to show case what they can do when given more responsibility.

In all honesty I'd be shocked to see us get within 6 goals of the Bombers, but Macrae has had to side playing some pretty good footy this year even when we have had injuries or suspension testing the depth.

Hopefully our game style holds up and we make it a real contest but would be amazed if we get the choccies

Hopefully Shai can have another big one and push for senior selection

Also keen to see Balta and CCJ do well although might be an average weekend (weather) for talls

We named 7 of our 8 extended bench players. Four will miss (McNiece, Guelfi and Langford all in the AFL side) and there won't be many bomber fans due to the crossover with our AFL game unfortunately.

This should be a ripper, we're missing a couple of blokes that should play finals in Leuenberger, Mutch, McNiece, Boyse and Laverde, but I doubt Dea and Parish will be playing finals though. You're obviously missing those 6 outs, Chol, Drummond and Markov as well.
