Too much pressure has been put on Perrie.

I know he played down back but when hes up forward (where hes best utilized) he can be a handy 3rd tall. Put Carey and Mark Stevens in the same forward line as him and he'll improve dramatically.

We need a crumber in the forward line, I wouldnt mind Bode doing the job since Ayres loves selecting him without actually playing him more than .15 seconds.... how about Schuback though. Plenty of kicks to Carey, Perrie and Stevens (none of the 3 right now are good at taking contested marks but can give contests) goto the ground where we get slaughtered. Schuback is quick, can read the play and from what ive seen can kick fairly well and long for a small man.

I think we can do alot worst than Perrie, sure he isnt your typical forward but he gives you a contest and works hard. If our 'stars' worked as hard as Perrie week in week out we wouldnt be 2-6. Perrie has shown the ability to kick 5 or 6 goals...

Remember against North a few years ago when Stevens and Jars took the 2 best defenders, Perrie steps up and bombs 5.1 and robs Mcleod of a brownlow! Hes also had a nice bag against Melbourne with Carey the main target.

But anyway the point of the argument is to get a crumber up forward, even Ronnie Burns would make the players jobs easier. Sure he didnt perform at his best so far this year but give him some time and he can do some magic.

say what you want, but Murphy isn't fit to carry Welsh's bag to the training ground.

Murphy is a scrub, a disruptive off field influence, who can't be relied upon when it counts. he brings less to his club than he takes, that's why he is always being given the flick. He flatters to deceive.

Why do you bombers fans want to play thsis game out before the teams take the field? is it because you get to act like winners in the days leading up, when you don't actually expect to take the points when it matters ?????

You are right about Murph at other clubs but so far he has done everything Essendon have asked and has been a good player for us, as he was last night. If he did go off the rails we lose very little as we don't have to pay him out a great amount. It was a gamble worth taking and so far it is another stroke of genius from Sheeds. In this situation you are wrong, Murph bring more to us than he takes.

Oh yeah, the scummy Bombers...

OK, take back what I said about not caring what happens for the rest of the year.

That 5-game winning streak needs a nipping in the bud.
What would a cretin who lives in Shyteme know bout REAL Football?.

Selective stats farming is a great hobby, isn't it?

You should know. "Selective respect" and all that.

For example, why don't you have a gander at the stats for points against Adelaide's defence versus points against bombers defence last year?

That's relevant to this season how? How were St Kilda's points against in the first 11 rounds last year? Or Collingwoods for that matter. They mean SFA at this stage of this year don't they?

From a Crows fan POV, Adelaide's midfield would wipe the floor with Essendons midfield, as demonstrated quite vividly when these two teams met at AAMI Stadium last year.

Oooh, I like this game. From a Bombers fan POV, Essendons midfield would wipe the floor with Adelaide's midfield, as demonstrated quite vividly when these two teams met at Docklands Stadium the year before last.

See how easy it is to bring a totally irrelevant match into a discussion?

Why don't you have a gander at the stats for ruck hitouts for Adelaide's ruck versus Essendons ?

Hitouts mean nothing if you can't clear the ball. Ask Spider.

Why don't you have a look at the head-to-head record of these two sides at AAMI ?

That's relevant to which team, player for player, has a better line up this season how?

If you look at all the stats, say over the past 3 years, I think you will find that Adelaide comes out consistently ahead of the bombers, but only slightly.

That's relevant to which team, player for player, has a better line up this season how?

The Crows have finished ahead of Essendon each of those years ... but only slightly.

I hate to break it to you Mark, but you didn't win the flag in 2001.

PS: - Fletcher might be a different player in Melbourne, but here at AAMI Stadium last year he was a complete bozo. He got thrashed by welsh, and he lost the plot & nearly got himself reported. He was a sizeable factor in why Bombers lost the game.

No argument there. Did ok friday though.

Edit: Good luck for the rest of the season.
