at essendon training mathew lloyd has spoken to the group telling them that they should wear helmets and protective gear in order to gain some confidence to put there head under the ball..

The basis of the arguement that you stepped into was Essendon's inability to win contested ball. The arguement is baseless.
We had a lot of problems last year, being soft was not one of them.
