Hawthorn really have a complex with Essendon, get over it we are a better club than you and really don't mind you guys, as we never see you as a threat to win the next flag.

Essendon played until 1927 at East Melbourne,left only so Melbourne could have some additional Trainlines, then played at Windy Hill from 1927 until the 1990s, and only left to cater for there fans while Hawthorn played at Glenfarrie until 1965 because the ground was too small even for a club with a small fan base,

At least when in Essendon most people back the club, the same cannot be said for Hawthorn.

Yep since the Hawks entered the comp you've won 10 and we've won 9. Big woop.

Were still here and getting stronger, both financially and on the field. Ess have been financially strong for a while now but the Hawks are doing their best to not only secure it's future but to have surplus funds. A luxury we haven't really had.

It's Glenferrie and yeah it's tiny - wedged between houses and a train line - was never going to survive due to it's limitations, too small for training also. Waverley will do fine.
