at essendon training mathew lloyd has spoken to the group telling them that they should wear helmets and protective gear in order to gain some confidence to put there head under the ball..
did hawthorn really make u suffer that much?
Come up with that one yourself Mercs? It was pretty poor.
Hawthorn have one of the most promising financial futures of all the teams still in Victoria.
We aint going anywhere.

Mr Lizard's considered opinion - in 2006, Hawthorn were a pretty ordinary side. They still managed to beat Essendon twice and finish four spots higher on the ladder.
Why?
Because Essendon are rubbish. They are soft. They are poo
Buddy >>>>>>> Essendon
Essendon won a flag in the 1890s,1900s,1910s,1920s,1940s,1950s,1960s,1980s,1990s,2000s
Hawthorn won flags in 1960s,1970s,1980s,1990s
Yep since the Hawks entered the comp you've won 10 and we've won 9. Big woop.
Hawthorn have been formed 4 times and folded on 3 occasions due to a lack of suitable playing factuality, I guess an oval amongst the mayblooms was hard to find.
Were still here and getting stronger, both financially and on the field. Ess have been financially strong for a while now but the Hawks are doing their best to not only secure it's future but to have surplus funds. A luxury we haven't really had.
Essendon played until 1927 at East Melbourne, left only so Melbourne could have some additional Trainlines, then played at Windy Hill from 1927 until the 1990s, and only left to cater for there fans while Hawthorn played at Glenfarrie until 1965 because the ground was too small even for a club with a small fan base,
It's Glenferrie and yeah it's tiny - wedged between houses and a train line - was never going to survive due to it's limitations, too small for training also. Waverley will do fine.
At least when in Essendon most people back the club, the same cannot be said for Hawthorn.
Yeah you've got a bigger supporter base, well done. Just means more prozac sales in 2007.
Now message to Hawthorn people, go and enjoy Tassie maybe that second head might help win a few games.
Good record in Tas already - just be thankful you'll never have to play us there.
If we had to go too Tassie we would be packing the No Dose
I thought your captain was on a permanent drip of that stuff anyway.
No!! the drip is for the Barcardie
How many games has Gumbleton played again?Gumbleton>>>>>>>>>>>Buddy![]()
Mr lizard,playmaker and dipper86.......
3 examples of why most of Hawthorn's BF supporters are viewed as halfwits and cretins of the lowest order.
Very sad indeed....can't wait to hear all you're excuses later on this season when HFC fall into the great hole of incompetence and failure that has been a common trait for your little tassie club of late.
Good record in Tas already - just be thankful you'll never have to play us there.
that wont happen because you need the money that Essendon provides for you when you play us
yep, and the 4 points.
