That is true, Essendon fans have been very courteous towards us on these boards which might look strange. In fact a few of them (in particular Lance Uppercut) actually defended us, which turned by BF world upside down because of my 6 years on this board I have not experienced such support from an arch rival.

A strong Carlton is great for the AFL so it really has worked out well that you guys are gettting back on track and getting Judd was the iceing o the cake. I really can't wait until next season when there is a possability of a full house and that great Essendon/ Carlton rivalry is reborn.

Bomber supporters have defended the Blues many times..and this has amazed me.

I am 16 premierships, i hate bomber supporters ,club and anything in red and black .i dont care if we lose every game next year aslong as we beat pies and dons . dons with there ageing list that surely could not be that hard.

Since your all so caring and sharing towards each other, maybe you could join and form 1 team. The Carlton Bombers. That way you might be able to challenge for a top 8 spot and play some finals (prob need a few years of tanking first).

Seriously though, it seems that the Essendon supporters have shown that they have had a greater understanding of the Judd saga than most. Judd chose 4 clubs, the big 3 and the team he supported as a kid the Dees. Fortunately for the Blues he chose us as his preferred destination.

With the Dawks and the Tiges it seems more like sour grapes. The Dawks are still upset that he didn’t even consider them because of their perceived off-field “culture” (and who could blame him). With the Tiges where do you start, they were hovering around like a vulture trying to scavenge if they could and were fueled by a KB frenzy on SEN. They thought that they were actually going to get him??

The decision and trade has been done and time will tell who have been the winners out of this.

32 Premierships! Image the side in a few years though (Gibbs, Murphy, Gumbleton, Ryder, Kreuzar etc.)! However Lloyd and Fev in the same team is a worry... But Judd can fix all that

Don't get me wrong. I still hate the Bombers...and I always will..But not as much as I used to....They've earnt my respect at times in the last few weeks..And if they're arrogant..I guess they have a right..been the other team with 16 Premierships..But the Hawks and Tigers have really pissed me off. And i hate them alot more than Essendon now.
