Over the last couple of weeks...The Bombers have started to earn my respect..And I believe they deserve some respect as they are the other team with 16 premierships...I've started to hate HAWTHORN and RICHMOND more than Essendon. Bomber supporters have defended the Blues many times..and this has amazed me.

I saw no need to troll you guys on the Judd thing. And all this tanking crap getting old. You know when theyre all getting desperate and jelous when they pull out the tanking sh*t

I seriously think you guys have the talent to win a flag in next 5 years. I sincerely hope we'll be right there with u battling out the GF!

Personally i hate Essendon the most, and its great cause we beat them at least once a year and of late on the bigger occasions!!!

Collingwood, Port, Fremantle, StKilda and Kangas are who i hate the most along with the Dons!!!!

Hawthorn, Melb, Geelong, Richmond have nothing on us so why hate them!!

What I hate about the Essendon fans I know is that they constantly massively overrate their list. According to the Dons fans I regularly argue with, basically WHOEVER they have in any position on the field is "as good as anyone" in the league. Which is BS. I recall being told about how good Jason Johnson was... despite everyone else knowing and agreeing he's as slow as a wet week with iffy skills, and there being 20 midfielders, at least, ahead of him at all times in his career. What a marvellous tagger Peverill is... yeh... but he's not Ling or Kirk.

And then of course there's the Hird thing. Hird, I believe, is probably the best player in the league in the last decade. The number of times he's single-handedly rescue the Bombers is ridiculous. And they celebrate like their team is awesome. When, really, they've just been spoiled by having this fricken GENIUS Hird there to save them.

I really look forward to talking to my Bomber mates this year. They are screwed without Hird. They really are. Sure Lucas will win them a few games, Lloyd will kick lots of goals... but they have no idea how good they've had it. Without any real leaders now, I look forward to them absolutely sucking.

So... I hate 'em, but I love to hate 'em.

Collingwood will always be number 1 on the hate list, but Richmond are doing their best to move up the ladder.

The Bombers are our greatest rivals, but they are the other great Melbourne club in the comp so I think that's why from time to time Bombers and Blues supporters parcel out a bit of respect to each other.

After the game where Hawthorn beat us by a 100 points some of their supporters were (maybe not surprisingly) sticking the boot in and acting like tools. I also think their Judd-Jealousy has been right up there along with Richmond's.

St Kilda will always have a chip on their shoulder about Carlton, it's a bit sad.

Thank God people are starting to hate Carlton again - it shows we're back!!

That is true, Essendon fans have been very courteous towards us on these boards which might look strange. In fact a few of them (in particular Lance Uppercut) actually defended us, which turned by BF world upside down because of my 6 years on this board I have not experienced such support from an arch rival.

Our two clubs have always maintained a healthy sense of respect with each other even though we would never admit it. Both teams are aiming for that elusive 17th cup, whereas Collinwood will always come second best.

I too have noticed a greater amount of trashing of other teams by hawk posters, hence my reasons for staying away from BF during the off-season. In there defence however is the fact that the hawks copped it for years from 02-06 and some of them think it is probably time for a bit of pay-back.
Rivalry is great and good for the game. The blues-bombers is one of the best, long may it continue.

My two most hated teams 1. Hawthorn 2. Collingwood.
We have a great rivalry and i would like that to continue with a change for Anzac day Essendon vs Carlton, now that would be great.

Goodluck with Juddy he is a superstar no doubt about it, carlton will be a force in the next 2 years, wich will be great for the game.
