Makes sense. The average games played by an AFL player is depressingly low. A lot don't make it.

Guys who have never played an afl game or are on the rookie list are considered less likely to make it than ones who have played nearly 60 games at age 21...

It's not that inconsistent with the number of players who are turned over annually. We all hope that everyone on the list will be awesome but many - perhaps most - won't have long and distinguished playing careers.

To summarise, in my view 23 will make it by either having long careers in the best 22 at Essendon. Eleven players won't make it IMO, while the remaining players I haven't seen enough of to really have a view on.

Hes played 7 games last year averaged 16 posys 4 marks a game.
I havent really taken much notice untill last couple of weeks.
In the NAB cup hes seemed to be doing alright considering they're shorter games.
