To help the AFL with the sale of Etihad to the AFL?

It's probably the only plausible explanation for coming up with a concept to pick up HiSence arena and move it a few hundred meters to the north west, to build a 60,000 seat stadium in its place, to move Richmond station underground, and to move Olympic boulevard underground, and disrupting the Australian Open in the process.

Got to hand it to Ed, that's going to a bit of trouble just to get two Collingwood home games moved to the MCG.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was true.

I'd be curious to know who paid for it ... Feasibility assessments, concept drawings?

Did Ed pay for it out of his own pocket?

It’s usually anywhere on L3 for GA, except for the first 2-3 rows on the interchange bench side that are reserved for AFL members (sections 7-20 thereabouts) from memory.
