Euro 2020

Noticed a few punters sniffing around Ukraine's prospects:

Ukraine still may surprise in the Euros, but unfortunately their lead-in form hasn't been convincing, especially compared to about a year ago. If the Euros were held last year, Ukraine was every chance of topping their group. Biggest issue is not being clinical enough in front of goal and converting chances.

Zinchenko should feature prominently (he'll play midfield too, as opposed to defence where he normally plays at Man City) but their best player will be their other midfielder, who goes by the name of Ruslan Malinovskyi. Plays in Serie A and has been in scintillating form.

Shevchenko is a great coach with big game experience, but has his favourite players who he will stubbornly stick with, some of them dubious selections.

Disclaimer: I'm Ukrainian background, and actively follow both the national team and their premier league

Think England's weakness team wise is its defence. A good team will be able to expose a : Mings, Stones and Pickford. Opposition teams will get chances.

Croatia can give them a game , as they beat them in the 2018 World Cup semi finals.

At a price of 6.60 for England to win the tournament that is far too short and should be at least double digits IMO.

Ukraine to win Group C at €5.50 is the standout bet for me. The Netherlands have been pretty woeful for the last 5-6 years and are living on former glory.
I have to agree with you this Netherlands team is not strong as the teams from 90 and early 2000's or when they last won 3rd medal World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.

There is no Van Dijk, will rely alot on Memphis Depay and Wijnaldum to get them through deep in the tournament but at 15.50 for the outright thats poor odds for me. Think teams like Croatia, Poland, Turkey and Czechs a class above them....

Hungary 7.80, Draw 4.30, Portugal 1.55 (2am AEST)
France 2.68, Draw 3.30, Germany 3.05 (5am AEST)

There will be a few upsets in the opening Round:

Like the look of Finland to grab something, Russia at home is too big a price, Croatia beat England in the last major tournament, North Macedonia can possibly get something, Ukraine as we have talked about are too big a price against an average Dutch side, Scots at home are value.....and France/Germany maybe it will be like a boxing match, both teams will nudge and nurdle but there won't be a knock out punch- a draw and possibly 4 points the group with a good Goal difference more than enough to make round of 16 IMO.

How many group games does each team play - TAB has a promo where if you throw $20 on a team to win you get $5 bonus bet for every game they win in the group stage.

I went with Belgium - they look most likely to sweep their group

Totally fun bet for the first half: Italy, England and Spain to all top their groups @ 2.54.

Probably just be lurking for the occasional game-by-game bet.

Sweden single-handedly destroyed most of these bets.

Feel like Germany and France happy for the draw, if Portugal win in the earlier game.

Feel like it will be a boxing match that goes the full round and both teams will be happy with a point given they know they have the whipping boys in Hungary in their group.

2-2 , 3-3 correct score and a bit of insurance on 4-4 the way to go.......

Wales would want to go for a win then settle for a draw here. Last game in pool against Italy and that is one game you don't want to be chasing the W.

Feel like there will be bookings in this game.

Wales $3.00 to get Over 20 match Bookings points looks a decent shout for me.
