With the shit show that is 2020 the one positive is the reemergence of Amy Lee and Evanescence. The 3 new songs released so are top shelve and possibly some of the best ever by the band.
Wasted on you, The game is over and Use my voice are amazing. Use my voice is a 2020 anthem especially for those in America the music clip bring chills down my spine.
I do think Amy has the best voice in music and that this band is so underrated by the industry, consider the crap that makes money and are hits today I rest my case.

I saw Amy Lee backed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra a couple of years back. I think it was at Rod Laver? Anyway, she's a phenomenal talent. Her vocals are probably just about the best I've ever heard live.

Being a part of early Evanescence with their catchy yet simplistic 'nu-metal' sound probably meant she was individually never taken as seriously as she deserved. Though admittedly 'Bring Me To Life' was an absolute favourite of mine when younger.

I'll give the new songs you mentioned a whirl. I didn't realise they were still active under that name tbh.

It was at Rod Laver arena, I went to that concert too. The one thing that disappoints me about their live shows and I’ve seen them every time they’ve come to Melbourne is that their live shows are short in comparison to others. I’ve seen a lot of “major bands” in Melbourne and nearly all shows were longer than Evanescence’s.
