None of them played, but Crawford was back and played well. Everitt should play round one but if he's not 100% then we shouldn't bother playing him. Thurgood I'm not too sure and he won't play round one regardless, I don't expect him to play much this season, he's just too skinny, needs to bulk up. Barker I hear is a chance for round one, they're just nursing him at the moment, makes our team so much better when he's there and firing.

Fully concur, Bennycoff. I would go as far as to say that if he doesn’t bulk up and strengthen vital parts of his body he does not have a future at AFL senior level. In saying that, I have observed he has ability in abundance and I hope he, the physical trainers and the coaches fully realize this and he goes onto have a brilliant career.

.... as for his physical state, anyone recall Michael Tucks physique?
Hope he turns out to be another Tucky but I have the gut feeling Thurgood will be no Tuck. Difference: For starters Michael was not injury prone, just look at his consecutive game record. Thurgood has plenty of guts and determination but his body doesn't stand up, lacks physical endurance. And remember, Tucky played in eras where opposition snipers attacked the champion's body at evey sneaky opportunity. Three umpires and more strictness in applying playing the man rules protect the likes of Thurgood to a much greater degree, but he is not-with-standing such, IMO.
