Playing 3 defensive mids against WATFORD this Koeman is an absolute PEANUT.
We don't scare teams, we don't have a Hazard/Sanchez/Coutinho/Pogba/Eriksen/De Bruyne etc to name a few, who can break games open for the top teams.

Our "best" player is Lukaku, who essentially does SFA for 80 minutes and the other 10 minutes is tap in attempts or back to goal passing.

Barry has been a great servant but he is so old and slow, offers no threat and Gueye is defensive (albeit a great player), McCarthy is garbage now.

Barkley has lost all sort of confidence under Koeman and Mirallas has been shit for a while now, even Geri does SFA now.

Bolasie, whilst not that great, at least troubled the opposition.

Don't get me started on our GK situation and how that wasn't addressed, just go and get ******* Mat Ryan or something.

We're up shit creek and left the paddle (Money Moshiri) at home until the next window.

Good money spent on Williams who has done SFA, RFM is not top 6 quality.

30m down the drain on Bolasie, Gueye has been the only decent signing - 1 signing to "rehaul" the team.

We need a new: GK, CB, LB, CM, LW, Striker.

Holy shit
It could have been worse had Sissoko decided to come to Everton for 30 million.

The crowd definitely loves a strong tackle, once there was a couple of those we really lifted & Arsenal could never get going. Hope they are ready to back it up with a manic derby, hoping to find a sports bat showing it as I'll be in Vancouver!!

koeman inherited a team who were going nowhere and played like it.
he came in, kicked some players up the arse who needed kicking and has done the best
he can with the players he inherited.

at least give the man a chance to bring in his own players
before anyone can judge him proper.
bolasie not included.

Kind of agree on the bringing his own players in part, but the squad we had assembled going into the last two/three seasons on paper was the strongest we'd had in over a decade on paper. The (complacency?) rot set in with Martinez, and Koeman needs to ensure that doesnt continue. Guys like Baines and Coleman need to get back to where they were three years ago or its time to move them on whilst they still have currency.
Yesterday was a good start

Gueye alone is a win for me.

Rest doesn't matter.
