So frustrating. Such an awkward ball. And he knows he should have just tipped it over - which is what he was trying to do. But that pressure from ******* origi was enough to make him second guess.
In all honesty, how we played for the last 30 minutes made me feel we deserved more than a point. Now it’s just a bitter taste. We bossed them for parts.

Last time we had 20% possession and 3 shots. This time 42% and 9 shots, but were easily better than that stat says. Liverpool are poo. They are not that good, not 2nd anyway. City are miles ahead.
Can I just say Silva has nailed the selection table, shown that he’ll pick players once the deserve opportunities (Lookman) and whilst rotating a few players he hasn’t gone crazy.

Same old story of not being able to break down a side that just parks the bus, so annoying at home when you dominate. Could have lost near the end too
The team has probably hit a ceiling as far as the league is concerned. 6th, 7th, 8th is the same thing for Everton. They should be playing today with an eye on winning the FA Cup.

I thought Silva was a good manager. Then he started DCL and made us go back to the David Moyes days against the top teams.

Tbh, I don't recent form has much of an affect they way Silva/this side is going about it. Had they beat Burnley 5-1 first then played Tottenham, I don't it would've led to an improved performance.
On another note. I don't know if I'm misinterpreting this, because I pay closer attention to Everton games, don't pay that close attention to others, and there's more knowledgeable posters on here than me. But some of these free kicks from Digne seem to be of a higher degree of difficulty, and he's nailing them. I reckon he could smash the toilet window of the neighbours two doors down through a wall of trees.
If he keep going like that, I reckon opposition team would much rather concede a penalty than a fk just outside the box.

Digne is a stud. Sign Gomes long term. Those two along with Richarlson and Pickford is the bones of an elite side, find a striker and AM of Richies quality and we’ll be contending.
So what's wrong with Tosun then, why would Silva not be into him?

Something seems off with him not having much of a look in, wouldn’t surprise me if he goes back to Besiktas. He’d technically gifted with his shooting, but he struggles with going up against 2/3 defenders on his own.
I didn't have Foxtel,, so this is the first season I've got coverage of all games. So if Tosun struggles against 2-3 defenders on his own, this was less of a problem generally for Lukaku? Who scored pretty much in every game I watched him on Foxtel.
