3 points and another clean sheet is a good result. However, our performance was pretty flat - though credit to West Brom, they made it very difficult for us.

James should be back for Chelski and Allan only played 35mins so we're looking good for Sunday with a full team. No more Iwobi please and thank you. Wonder if we'll go with a Diamond again but maybe Sigurdsson on one side and Doucoure/Gomes on the other. Don't think it suits Siggy or Doucoure but he runs a marathon a game easy so he'll cover whatever ground he needs. If they play a back 5 like normal we need defensive cover on the wings.

Siggy & Hamez can’t play in the same team, much like Gomes & Davies (although they did against the bitters and were excellent) without someone like Allan. Based on the injury & form, I’d say Siggy starts and Hamez is a sub. Hopefully Davies & Coleman are back, sounds like Holgate has a hamstring injury

Every chance we get to progress and potentially enter Europe, we absolutely s**t the bed. I just don’t know if the underlying loser culture can ever be removed now.

It’s nothing to do with loser culture. We have lack of true star power in the forward half. No star strikers, no star attacking midfielders. That’s all. If we had KDB or Son or Maddison we’d be a much better team and if we are ever to take the next step. We need to acquire one or more.

Never even looked like scoring. Same as against Chelsea and City before that. Desperate for an upgrade up top and a midfielder who can dominate a game.

We really need to buy some dynamic players for the forward half. No one can generate a thing by themselves. No star power. A real hesitancy to play quickly to the strikers because the odds of them being able to score without gilt edged crosses is too low so have to slow play it maintain defensive field position.

I agree with the above. I think against the top teams we get pressed high and well and we can't pass through it. Dom doesn't hold the ball up well enough either.

If our home form was as good as our away form we’d probably be second or three. Haven’t won this many away games since our last title. We need the fans back at goodison to egg us on or a good sports psychologist to get us in to a good head space. Or just play all our home games across the park. We’ve got a 100 percent win record there this season after all
