Good side.
Early days but I really want to get Deulefeu starting games.
Me to mate. It's still really early days for him, i honestly think he will come back next season too, Martinez said there is a clause in his loan deal to extend the loan for another another year. Unless he has some sort of falling out or just really doesn't like it here I can see him coming back next season because he's so raw and i don't think he will be ready to join the Barca first team after just one season with us.

So in saying that we can afford to take things really slow with him, which i think Martinez will do. Going off reports he's plays best football on the left side so i do think he will eventually take Pienaar's spot but I honestly think it won't be until around Christmas time until we start seeing him regularly starting unless injury.

My XI

Tim Howard
Seamus Coleman - Phill Jagielka - Sylvian Distin - Leighton Baines
James McCarthy - Darron Gibson
Kevin Mirallas - Ross Barkley - Steven Pienaar
Romeul Lukaku
Subs: Joel Robles - John Stones - Johny Heitinga - Gareth Barry - Leon Osman - Gerard Deulofeu - Arouna Kone
Line up defiantly looking stronger than at the end of the season, looking much younger too which is great because the age of the squad was a worry for a while there but it's defiantly not an issue anymore.
The starting XI is looking really strong as i said but i think our most improved area is defiantly our depth, we've got some pretty good players sitting on the bench and some pretty decent players who i couldn't even find a spot for on the bench.

Agree with that starting XI. Gibson can rotate with Barry a bit so he doesn't get crocked as often, and hopefully Deulofeu will end up with some starts ahead of Pienaar.

I'd expect Barry to start week in week out. He's done it in title winning teams, and while he's not getting any quicker he's never relied on his pace. Villa fans said when he signed that you don't appreciate him until he's not playing and then you realise how much he adds to the team. It turned out to be 100% spot on, and I expect that will be the same for you guys.

Very Happy and Sad to see Fellani leave but thats football.Happy with the signings and why can't Lukaku play against Chelsea.
Because he's a loan signing from Chelsea.

Also this is our third kit this season, IMO it would have looked very nice with our old badge (just like our away kit)

Yeah that is what I was thinking when I posted that. He was immense.
Fell I think leaves on very good terms with Everton and the Everton fans. Nice tweet from him as well.

I like your ins. Lukaku is a great player barry will add steel and leadership and Mcarthy has good potential.
Nice work
The issue we have is we started the year with 3 reasonably easy games and we have failed to pick up a win. The new additions are positive but they are going to have to hit the ground running.

Well I think I have now sobered up since Port's win over Collingwood Saturday night.:)
Lets hope we can perform well against Chelsea. We desperately need a win to get moving.
