As someone who gets grabbed periodically by modern art, I have been looking forward to the Cai Gui-Qiang exhibition all year. Not long to wait now!

The Heritage installation will be a sight to behold. Coolest exhibition at GOMA since Ron Mueck (and Andy Warhol before that).

Also highly recommend people check out the Contemporary Art from Black Australia exhibit before it wraps up on October 7th. Some spellbinding art in that one that shatters whatever preconceived notions people have about Indigenous art (i.e. not just dots on bark).
 
Oooh, also on the art theme, I am going to Tassie at the end of the year for my honeymoon which will include a visit to MONA. Yet to hear from someone who has been there without having their minds blown. Can't wait.

Took me until about the eight time watching this to not crack up laughing. Had tears the first couple of times. Probably a justified reaction as well to a disgusting performance by a couple of repulsive, morally corrupt, deluded 'musicians'.

Randomly stumbled on this web-series called "White Lines" on YT. Not sure if it's been posted on here before, but it looks quite interesting.
 
What the hell happened to Miley Cyrus? Hannah Montana used to be a guilty pleasure of mine (I have a younger sister lol) and it was a pretty innocent show, but now she's trying to be all "adult" and looking like a complete tool about it (have you seen the "We Can't Stop" video? OMG she looks like an idiot!).

I mean, I know she wants to shake the "little kid" tag, but surely there are better ways to go about it? Going to the other extreme is making her look more of a brat than a legit singer!

I'm sure the marketing team behind Miley Cyrus Industries Pty Ltd know what they are doing. Making her seem like a "legit singer" is probably about point 50 on their business plan.

Wouldn't give it any more thought than that.
