Teams have ups and downs. We havent figured it out yet. we are still a work in progress. Most of us even after melbourne win expected a what? 6 to 8 win season? We played last years grand finalist and got shown what actual work is required...need a bigger sample size before we throw the team away. Are first 3 weeks were impressive and expectations went up... hell sydney get thrashed im grand finals doesnt make them a bad side. West Coast, Richmond and Melbourne all look totally rudderless, dim of hope. Port, Bombers and Carlton all look bad but are somewhat underperforming and could very possibly find some good form during the season. We exist in some godless place between these two groups.

So we have improved lol

They had a core of senior players who had been there forever couple with a settled football department and have had a total of two coaches in 20+ years.

We razed our club to the ground 3 times in 5 years.

I think we should do it again cos we keep losing.

Ok, but we're talking Hawthorn vs us. No like for like.

Maybe if you show the same graphics for each of Hawthorns wins from the prior year, that will help tell a story as to how they were able to turn it around in a hurry and how we are unlikely to do so.

Imagine AFL being your no.1 pastime and you have supported North for the last 5-6 years. It’s no way to enjoy life. Surely there is a breaking point where you just find another pastime?
