you were right!

Servo, go back to the page where you uploaded the picture from and somewhere on the page you should be able to choose to use custom avatars, If you don't select it your avatar will not show up. Thats what happened to me!

I've got Dilbert as he is a tall, slightly portly computer geek as is yours truly!

I've also modified it a little, removing his glasses and correcting the colour of his tie!
