Davo won that event in Tahiti. Backed up again this year to defend his tahiti title , but just fell short by finishing 3rd.

Davo I think has just jetted off to California for another competition. With some serious backing (sadly lacking) he would give the world title a serious shake.

Yeah, remember seeing him play at East (!) Fremantle Oval way back when vs Essendon? I think, in the pre season. Was an absolute ****ing beast of a man, or at least appeared that way to a young boy.

I think the comparison with Brown is a decent one. The vague memory I have of him is definitely of the enforcer type.

Seriously strong unit that was super agile . Definitely an enforcer.
Would've excelled at NRL or UFC too.

This thread came up in a google search as I was trying to get info on the signatures I collected from the 1990 WCE players that were training at Sacred Heart College. David Muirs signature can be seen bottom left, on the bottom page. He was delisted without playing a game, same again at North Melbourne, and then drafted by you guys in 1994, playing 20 games. I hope no one minds too much that I included the signatures, I just thought his signature deserved to be here

Big difference between paddle boarding on a river and paddle boarding at an ocean break down South. There are some crazy paddle boarders down at Margs - would definitely not use the term "embarrassing" to describe them.
