Hey Guys.

I was watching the game on Saturday night (well done to your boys-they play excellent footy in the wet) and noticed some intermittent booing (at times) whenever Davis, Williams or Schauble got near the ball.

I completely understand the feeling towards Davis. He was getting sooky to go home. However, I don't get the beef with Williams and Schauble. I understood that they were offered as trades to Sydney by Collingwood, so they didn't really betray any fans by leaving in the same circumstances that Davis did. I always got the impression that Willo would have been happy to be a Pie for life (don't know about Schaubs-wasn't he Deputy Vice Captain?).

I can see why you'd be disappointed to lose Davis, but when I think of him, I think of Anthony Rocca/Shannon Grant/Darren Gaspar.

FWIW, I'm a Swans supporter and I love watching our teams play regardless of the result.

Just asking a question.

Its tradition to boo ex players. If Schaubs was booed, its only because traitors like Davis and Williams are him teammates. No hard feelings Schaubs - the other two can get f*cked.

I never boo an ex-player, unless they injure a former team-mate (which I reckon is very Un-Australian). What's the deal with Willo? What did he do to betray the Pies? I thought he was happy there? I don't really know.

Williams only started getting booed once he whacked brodie.
As for Davis, that little **** deserves all the crap that gets hung on him. He is a good footballer though, pity he never earned a hard ball.

The story I heard about Willo leaving was that he didn't like the way Buckley was leading as a captain. So while Buckley was away on an end of season trip Willo went to Malthouse and said he didn't like the way Buckley was going about things. Malthouse said well if you don't like it then leave(Malthouse didn't think their was a problem with Buckley's leadership). So he did.
Buckley and Willo were good mates and, like I said earlier, he did this all while Buckley was on holiday.
